Lilly and I spent some time playing with our new blending tools this morning. Then, just before dinner, she was staring out to the field and noticed something big. Turned out, after getting out the scope, it was an Osprey eating a deer carcass. So, we layered up and went for a hike to check it out. As we pieced together the scene, the Osprey took off over our heads. Cold-we discussed the signs of frostbite in hurried voices, then started back with the white deer tail as a souvenir and picked some rose hips on the way for tea when we returned.
